भ्रमणध्वनी जणू आकांत करी,
झाडे सारी पडली मृत्यूमुखी!
मनात गर्दी अतोनात प्रश्नचिन्हांची,
संकुलं अन् रस्त्यांच्या जाळ्यांची ही घाई—
निसर्ग जोपासनेतच का कुचराई?
आपणच त्याचे असे कसाई?
So many birds in the courtyard,
Sunbeams scatter, soft and bright!
Trees are felled on mobile screens,
Questions gather in my mind!
Rising malls and racing roads—
Must nature always pay the price?
