पाय जेंव्हा ढेकळानी सोललीखूण तेंव्हा ओळखीची पोचलीगाव माझें ज्या दिशेला यायचे एक खिडकी त्या दिशेला ठेवलीयाद आली की निघावे लागतेगाव असते वाट पाहत आपली जायचे नव्हतेच नुसते कोरडेआठवण मग सोबतीला घेतलीगाईच्या डोळ्यात जेंव्हा पाहिलेगाय सुद्धा ओळखीचे बोललीओल असते गाव अन शेतातहीकोरडी नसतात नाती येथली- रमेश ठोंबरे

सर्दी हा एक मोठा चमत्कारिक रोग आहे. वास्तविक रोग म्हणवून घेण्याच्या लायकीचाही हा रोग नाही. ‘रोग’ ह्या शब्दालाही कांही दर्जा आहे. दमा, क्षय वगैरे भारदस्त मंडळींनाच ही उपाधि लागू पडते. रक्तदाब हा मला वाटते एक नुसता विकार आहे. मधुमेह हा विकार आणि रोग ह्यांच्या सीमारेषेवर घुटमळणारा चाळीशी उलटलेला गृहस्थ आहे. पण सर्दी ही नुसतीच एक पीडा आहे. पूर्वी नथ-पाटली वगैरे ‘दागिन्यां’च्या सदरांत मोजत नसत, बाई
